Taylor Momsen

Taylor Momsen (born Taylor Marien) is an American actor, singer, and songwriter. The most renowned of her works is for her role as leading singer in the rock group The Pretty Reckless. Multi-talented, she was introduced to the world of entertainment as a young girl at age 2. The life she lived was described as a rollercoaster and she was always working as early as she was. She was raised within an Roman Catholic religion, but declares that she's not religious anymore. She's a descendant of ethnic Germans which came from the "then" Russian Empire. When she began her professional career as a child acting, she branched out into modelling and music. She became a household brand because of her portrayal as "Jenny Humphrey" on the cult "Gossip Girl" series. The acclaimed debut album by her group, "Light Me Up' was also instrumental in helping her to gain notoriety. She is multi-faceted, but she says that she is a music lover. That's why she's opted to not act anymore and be able to focus her efforts on music.
